How did I not know that these existed! A few years ago, I purchased an artificial tree and discovered that the top ‘branch’ was not stiff enough to hold my beloved Christmas star, meaning that as soon as you let go of it, it would droop over at 90 degrees. A flaccid star is not a good look, so I resorted to using a chopstick and cable-ties to stiffen it up. This approach did work, mostly. Then I saw this, I never imagined that somebody would create an actual dedicated solution to the problem, but here it is! The toppers arrived in a padded envelope within which are three different sized ‘heads’ and several ‘pole’ sections, an instruction sheet is also included. Simply push the poles in to the desired head and use the ‘hook and loop’ ties to secure it to the tree. It is possible to attach the poles to each other giving you over a metre of pole if needed. The large tapered top fits my star perfectly and everything is now perky and upright, Christmas is saved!
